For a class on short stories we had to read two from Borges's Ficciones, so I got a copy from the library. The copyright is 1956 and this, the seventh printing, is from 1966, and the book itself is falling apart. I'm a little afraid to put it in my bag because I don't want it to break more, so I usually carry it in my hand. The edges of the pages
