thank you, andrew. i completely agree, and i was comtemplating writing something to the same effect recently. basically, it was sparked by the fact that certain people seem to ignore the fact that they are often very condescending and annoying about politics. i love hearing different opinions and ideas about politics but if you're just going to be pretentious and an asshole about it then no one wants to hear it. that's mostly all i have to say about it.
i'm just wondering why i was removed from your friends list. i mean, if you want to take me off, that's alright. just wondering if there was a reason. you can be honest.
haha at least you were honest.efreedenbergFebruary 23 2004, 19:46:45 UTC
i think there's something touching about a seventy year old man going forth to once again slay the dragons of his imagination. ralph nader is our very own Don Quixote - brave, determined, and slightly out of his mind. i think a lot of people, of differing political points of view, have to admire a man, such as Ralph Nader, who has chosen to pursue his personal "impossible dream" - "no matter the cost, no matter the price."
i think ralph nader serves a very useful role as a consumer advocate and critic of the establishment. i just think the man has a sadly primitive view of the political process and would make an incompetent leader.
