for most stupid symbolic gesture I hereby hand to good ol' NASA"Beaming" a Beatles song "directly into space". Wow. And aim it at the North Star too. Projecting 'Buffy The Vampire Slayer' into space in 50 years will be tricky unless you have a really tight beam. I guess you could use some kind of digital encoding since nobody's ever going to receive the signal anyway.

Someone at NASA may have been taking my joke too seriously.
