It's good to see papers building on the 200+ extrasolar planets we now know about - it's moved from the complete speculation of just sixteen years ago to growing scientific explanation. I approve!

Meanwhile, for a tool to calculate the insolation of planets, by latitude, for different stars, orbits, axial tilts and rotation periods...I'm working on it. ;-)
