Thanks for the tips on the Acer. I'm kind of in the market, weighing my options.

I checked various alternatives, but the more-impressive Brand versions like the HP's and Toshiba's didn't seem worth the expense (and their processors are often a bit slow), the ones with pure flash memory storage and no hard drive are _slow_ with Windows, and the ASUS ones were either too weak or slightly too big for my tastes. There was one ASUS Eee-PC which was a suitable alternate option, although it was slightly bigger and heavier.
