34. Was there a second of time I looked around?/Did I sail through or drop my anchor down?

The moon is missing his planet and missing normalcy. But even though he reads people now and their thoughts are a constant stream, sometimes a trickle and sometimes gushing and flooding, so much is becoming clear ( Read more... )

[ Sobu, moon. The planet misses you and is sleeping in your childhood bedroom. ]

There is never enough internal peace, but at this time it seems as if I had much more than I previously thought.

[Sylvar is at Handmaiden's right now. She's taken to silently repeating "I am safe", since... she doesn't remember the Jedi code but still wants to have something to repeat to try to stay grounded with.]

It never feels like enough, no, especially when separating peaceful thoughts from not-peaceful ones is difficult and the noise is hard to discern and find one single stream

but any peace that can be found is vital

[I think Simon's just been kinda drifting from one person to the other. He's gravitating toward familiar people because their thoughts are familiar and comforting.]

So that whole...talking in the third person thing. It's because of her abilities--your abilities.

Huh. I wonder if its genetic. It's very interesting but also, as usual, makes no logical sense whatsoever...

Is that a poem, or a riddle, or something I'm not finding a proper term for?

The moon is me is Simon, the planet is his sister Qi, she's on a trip but he hopes she'll be back soon.

I'm sorry, I've got a power I don't understand, I read people as they pass by like water running over a rock in a stream it makes it hard to hold onto thoughts and make them coherent for others

I don't think we've met, but I'm pleased to do so. And I hardly need an apology for that, seems it's in the air. You're touching the thought of others? That, I haven't seen before.

He's not normally this way, something the Sphere gave him while others had their powers taken.

Hopefully we'll speak again when his thoughts are normal.

I always found Qí's speaking and writing style quite beautiful, and I see that it runs in the family.

Would you like me to come home?

A reflection of the stream of confusion in the mind, he has to try to make things make any sense on paper and he's sure she does, too.

Can't ask, can't overburden anyone taking care of him but he appreciates the thought
