violet made the rare exception of not stirring even once from 8:30pm until 5:30 this morning. even at almost 15 months, times like these make me worry she's not breathing. it's all i can do to not go wake her up.
for the car trip, maybe just make sure he's really tired. oliver was a bear in the car for his first six months and it REALLY SUCKED.
Brixton also cannot stand being in the car if he's awake-well, he just doesn't like being strapped in the car seat. So now when we go to Syracuse and back we leave at 4:30-5am because he usually sleeps until 8-9am. Works like a charm.
Sucks for me, but it's better than him screaming and crying for 4 hours hours.
caden wakes up around 5am - 6am and usually falls back to sleep after a bottle for an hour. i think i'll try to keep him up and we'll leave around 8am.
it will take enormous strength not to pull over and just hold him while i weep too on the side of the highway. pray for me!

Is Caden on formula? Sometimes I daydream about switching to formula at night to see if it affords us sleep.

i don't expect these stretches to occur once i go back to work and once he starts teething.
