Newsflash: Book 7 is Long

Scholastic announced today that Book 7 will be printed on lovely recycled paper and that it will be 784 pages long. If they're not playing games with font size (see Order of the Phoenix, which if printed in the normal Potter font would have been over 1000 pages long), this makes Deathly Hallows the second longest Potter book -- it is 50 pages ( Read more... )

EEPS! Hopefully he'll die ages before then, yeah? That'd be a terribly short amount of Potter-Is-Dead time. UNLESS HE'S BEEN DEAD THE WHOLE TIME AND DOESN'T KNOW IT, LIKE GHOST!TRICIA...wait...that won't work...:P

I'm going to buy it and read page 777 first thing. AND THEN TAUNT YOU WITH MY KNOWLEDGE! MWAHHAHA!

Chances are that page 777 will be part of the post-climax epilogue, and will mostly detail how Professor McGonagall and Mad-Eye Moody put their differences aside, get married, and have many babies.

I think it's also nice about the recycled paper, did you see how it's the largest print-run ever on recycled paper. Well maybe Deathly Hallows will make a little contribution to the fight against global warming not just dark magic.
