So today I went to the bank to cash two checks and then headed over to the gap to do some shopping with my earned money...I bought some things and my own keychain for the extra set of keys my parents made for me.
Once I get home...

mom: "so how does it feel?"

me: "Independent!"

Being seventeen is great.

I saw my first wooly mammoth of the season this afternoon-it's officially fall.

School has begun. :/ As much as it sucks to crawl back to MHS im actually having a good time. Being a senior is such a wonderful change what with open campus and all. Junior year had to be the most difficult school year I've ever had and now all of a sudden my classes are easy! I just had my second dream about not being able to find my way to class. Only this time, I was in the middle school but I was still looking for my art major class. Dougie left me this morning for two weeks away at camp.

Just as we were starting to get along. This morning when he said goodbye he actually hugged me! I can't remember the last time he did that.
