Yes... she really did. *sigh*

It was seven years since I lost her, on the 6th December. I can still remember the feel of her velvety ears, rounded warm belly and the weight of her lying against me on the sofa.

I haven't given up on having another dog, but it's difficult as I work full time. So I am waiting for THE dog to come along, the one that will melt hobbitmum's heart as well (as she will have to "childmind" again). I know it will one day - just like hobbitbeagle did.

The one year anniversary of Blackie leaving us so suddenly is the 19th...another day. I've been weepy today. I miss him so terribly much. My Brownie is still here but for how long? He's 13. And now we have Tito who I'm still learning to love. But I miss my heart, my Blackie so much right now.

One day, a special pup will tug at your heart. You have a big heart and can share a bit of it with another dog one day. You'll know when. They find us, you know.
