Hopefully after reading this, most of you will be smart and wait a while until Repo Men is on torrent, download it, and watch it then. It wasn't worth the $10.50 I paid to go see it. When I first saw a trailer for Repo Men a couple of weeks ago when I went to the movies with my best friend, I had no clue it even existed. Once my best friend realized what the trailer was for, I heard her mutter under her breath "SHIT." Apparently she DID know of its existence, had seen a trailer before, and KNEW what my reaction was going to be. I actually screamed "IT'S A FUCKING RIP-OFF" during the middle of the trailer, and luckily we were at a late night movie and were the only people in the cinema. By the end of the trailer I was shaking and seeing red, I was so livid that they had taken something so dear to my heart and ripped it off.

I will not see Repo Men. I will not see it at the cinema, will not download it, will not rent or buy the DVD. It's possible it's just a coincidence, but I seriously doubt it. And even if it IS just a coincidence...I love Repo so much, and seeing this thing will likely just make me upset.

No, it isn't really a coincidence. Some things from the movie may be, but it really isn't.

I know it's a rip-off, and a horrible one at that. I had to see it for myself, though, rather than listen to everything everybody else was telling me.

Thank you so much for posting this review - I must admit, I was very close to seeing this movie "just to see it for myself", like you, but honestly? I would've ended up walking out and probably causing a fuss in the process - especially with whole singer whose eyes have been replaced. I'm friending and linking this on FB :)
