Yay for D! Is it a fixed-length job (e.g. a 6-month contract), open-ended, or permanent?

It is a realio trulio full time permanent job. He's going to be working with an old work colleague from a few years ago and is happy and excited to be appreciated to the extent that he was being "sold on the company" rather than having to peddle fast just to be considered :)

We are too. There were advantages to the last 1.5 yrs of bits a pieces of contract time (vacation and family time being high on list) but paying the bills is also important. $5,200 net property taxes on Pondside being a great motivator :)
