Куда поехать зимой?

Y меня зимой может выгореть отпуск дней на 10-12. Куда поехать (либо не очень дорого, либо не далеко; не обязательно чтобы оба параметра сработали)?

Мы в Калифорнии. Мексика относительно недалеко. Можно поехать в район Канкуна, но не в город, а в более дикую часть.

Есть места на Восточном берегу где мы не были, но лететь  в сезон снежных ураганов не

Lilya, I am sorry that I am not using Cyrillic. It is just easier with latin fonts today. There are many places in Europe we have not visited, and it is certainly a possibility. But it usually takes more than 10 hours of flight time + 1 day for adjustment. If we are going for a 10 day vacation - could be tough. Although I have not ruled Germany out yet.

Is it rainy in Aruba in December? I would love to go there, if the weather is right.

At the same time we have not been to Jamaica or Bahamas either...Will need to sit down and figure out weather and prices....

No worries. I know who you are :))).

My old boss used to go to Jamaica all the time, but her idea of rest is just to park her body on the beach and relax... In your opinion, what was bad about Jamaica or Bahamas?

One of Slava's grandmas made herself a present - she went there for her 80th birthday. She was flying to the east coast, and then she went on a boat. She wanted a cruise ship experience. She said it was a good trip overall, but she was shocked by poverty...

But then again, I would not solely go by a review of an 80-year old person :)
