Just saw Mandy Bruno as Eponine last week. Celia can run circles around Mandy. Sure Mandy wasn't AWFUL but she couldn't belt. She didn't put as much passion into.  She wasn't as cutesy as Diana (yick) but still...Celia is one of my favourites and compared to her, Mandy is nothing. But still she did reasonable. I give her a...seven out of ten. She

Ooh I'm seeing her in a few weeks. I was extremely disappointed when I found out that Celia was leaving. The one good thing I can come up with about seeing her is that I won't have a minor crisis about having to rethink my favorite Eponine (which happened when I saw Celia).

I'm hoping for an understudy. ^^

I was so sad too! Celia is the tops.

As for the other cast members:
-Bed Davis (Javert)- I am one of the biggest Norm Lewis fans. I think he is the best Javert ever. However, though Ben was not as breathtaking as Norm he was very good. He plays Javert a little less powerful but his voice is amazing. I'd say with a few more performances and improvments he could be as good as say Phillip Quast. But Norm will always be prime for me
-Lea Salonga (Fantine)- I'm sure most know she was absolutly AMAZING. Best performer of the night. Wow. That's all I can say. Wow.
-Ann Harada (Mme. Thenardier)- at first I was so judgemental after Jenny. During her run in after castle on a cloud i didnt like her much at all. but she grew on me. Id say i liked her alot. not as much as jenny but she was still really good!
-Max Von Essen (Enjorals)- AMAZING! I thought he was just as good as Aaron. Totally breathtaking and perfect for the role. Singing was AMAZING but his acting was absolutly flawless. Favorite Enjolras ever.
