Just a few days after moving into Selman Street, all the fuck-up locals came to check us out. A few tried to scam, a few were just bored. It was only Monday that some asshat came around the new place in Durham. He was checking out an empty place down the street, and saw that I was looking at him like he was an asshole. Pontus, are you familiar with a product called Febreeze? It's a squirt bottle cleaner like 409. It's useful mainly for fabrics (and therefore largely essential for any LARPers laundry room for those weekends when you realize before the new event that you never unpacked your bag after the old event), and also for upholstery. Its whole claim to fame is that is somehow magically draws out smells and makes them go away. Give it a try in the kitchen.

And when in doubt, open every window, and use a lot of lemon scented Pine-Sol!

That's horrible.
Shouldn't that have been cleaned/fixed/etc before you moved in? Like, by someone else?

Yuck.

And there are always hundreds of projects that need doing in a house. I've got at least a dozen floating around prominently in my head. Most of them involve painting and replacing doors right now.
