Friday is it?

Or rather was, as it's past midnight again. This work is never-ending and the fact that I wanted it all done weeks ago isn't helping. Last night, one of my friends mentioned how I'm certainly looking forward to finishing the whole dictionary project and getting some rest. Ah, if only. I'm supposed to have that Miyabe read by the end of April, so ( Read more... )

Maybe start the tennis off slowly, just a little bit at a time? I'd guess that building up slowly might be good for asthma, in the "training the lungs" sense.

Usually I have no real interest in pro tennis, but I do like it when Venus and Serena Williams play. Because the press always talks about the whole "big sister versus little sister" thing. And if Venus wins, I get to call my little sister and gloat about how big sister won the day.

I guess you are right, we will start slowly. Will have to read something on sport & asthma. Weird thing I have not done it yet, considering the fact I've been suffering from asthma since I was 19.

As for tennis, it's all tits and legs for me. I am that crude, I'm afraid. :/

That's not crude. Crude would be lusting after those freakishly prepubescent female gymnasts.

Yeah, I have an emergency inhaler (several, as I usually forget where I put them XD) and since last June, when I had several bad episodes, I have been given preventive inhaler (corticosteroids), which I am free to use according to need. So I'm usually not using it much, as I have had enough corticosteroids in my life already and would like to stay away from this stuff as much as possible.
Sometimes there's no other way, though (although I think my asthma has gotten loads better since it first appeared).

Well, I have allergy to certain pollen, which is the cause of my asthma. But my asthma is in the stage when it's sometimes triggered by intensive physical activity, stress or extreme temperatures.
