   Because the sodding essay is done. I finished at 8:30 AM, after more than 12 hours of writing. It's not perfect - actually, it's not even good and I half expect them to return it. The other half is hoping they'll be merciful. But I'm past caring, really. For now, I only want to have it done and submitted and not having to look at it for at least

I got home and slept for a while and now Dana's back from work and she brought me the best bonbonniere ever. :D

In fact, there's just pass/fail in the PhD mode and the philosophy department just LOVES to give us a bit of a hard time. But they are right, I suppose. One *should* try and cross the boundaries of his own subject.

We've been having rain lately and the temperature has dropped, which is my only luck. Otherwise I'd die. Heat AND philosophy. Ow ow.

We've been having record-breaking over 37°C every day for more than 10 days and everybody was absolutely exhausted - our folks just aren't used to such heat in our country.

Now the temperature has dropped significantly to some 17-20°, so we are fine. Just a few more days of that and I'd die. XD
