I have to admit...a lot of Draw's personality/history was influenced by Fakir from Princess Tutu. So Ahiru may have some experience dealing with his grumpiness, ha.
Sometimes Draw doesn't like it either, though makes his job as an animal trainer much easier.
Since Nara can turn into a mythological creature, an animal Draw's not familiar with, Draw may have to touch him for a full thirty seconds or so in order for his "trusting power" to work...but when Draw sees Nara as a dragon, he may just run the other direction. xD
Draw is free to understand Nida's body language whether she's in cougar form or not, as she's a very animalistic person in general. She was raised around cougars, after all. I'd imagine he'd be able to decipher her easier than most of the other characters, actually.
I'd imagine touching her in an attempt to gain her trust would come with consequences depending on her form, however, along with any difficulty Draw may have with large carnivores.

You have my full permission for all of the above as Ahiru is pretty good at miming to begin with and is ridiculously trusting and gullible.

Full permission to understand what he's thinking, and attempting to touch? Well, that'll be interesting. He doesn't like it.

I imagine so. Draw's Instinct really hates cats, too, hence why it's one of the hardest animals for him to work his power on.
