Epic Poultry Post

So, what did I find waiting for me in the barn this evening?

A big ol' goose egg!

But that doesn't give you a true idea of this egg's epic nature...

That's one of Mom's chicken eggs, next to it.

Unfortunately, it was A) dirty (which means it's a bad candidate for hatching), and B) laid when there is a three-inch thick ice slick outside, and no sign of spring in sight. So, what is one to do with such an epic egg?

Why, turn it into an epic fried egg, obviously. That's a standard 9-inch omelet pan, btw. O_o

For those who are wondering, it tasted like any other boring old farm-fresh egg. The yolk was a bit rubbery because it took so darn long to cook the massive yolk. Certainly better than those anemic factory farm eggs, though!
