I R NOT DED

Apr 25, 2011 11:39

Despite appearances, I'm still around, though LJ-reading has been very spotty as of late, and LJ-commenting, practically non-existent.

So, what have I been up to? Farm stuff, and yet another crappy part-time job that I detest-- this time, writing *fascinating* 450-word articles at $10-15 a pop for Demand Studios (the company that brought you eHow.com, the site that everybody loves to hate), and BrightHub.com. Need directions for changing the alternator on a 1969 Chevy Nova in an easy-to-understand "how-to" format? I can fix that for you! Looking for an overview of commonly used medical instruments from the Tudor and Stuart periods? No problem!

Anyway, farm stuff is much more interesting, so for anyone who cares, here's an overview of how I spent my winter vacation. Links go to the farm blog at http://www.deer-run-farm.com.

Livestock Guardian Dog... Er, Puppy

Oh God Is It Spring Yet??

Antibiotics in Pork

Mother Goose Tales

So, that's the personal stuff, mostly. DH and I also started the Paleo Diet a couple of days ago. Let me know in the comments if anyone is interested in hearing about that in greater detail.

I'll also be spamming everyone with a separate Who-related post in a bit. (Squee!)

I hope everyone is hanging in there. The times when I checked in on the flist gave me the impression that it's been a tough winter all around. :-(
