DH and I went to see Ron White at the lovely (NOT) Verizon Theater in Houston last weekend.  It was his 3rd of 3 shows and it was the late show at 10:30pm.  The theater fits 3,000 people so it isn't like a tiny comedy club but man this place is kind of gross.  We saw Kathy Griffin there 2 weeks earlier which was our first time to attend anything at ( Read more... )

I skipped out of work early today and saw Twilight with my teenage son at Noon.  The theater was mostly filled with cackling stay at home moms who were bad examples of how to behave in public.  If this one group of bitches didn't shut up when the movie started I was going to go get a box of peanut M&M's to throw at their bleach blonde heads.

1. Wrapping paper or gift bags? I'm definitely a wrapper with double stick tape with fancy bows and toppers.
2. Real tree or Artificial?  I grew up with real but now my family alternates between real and the pre-lit tree.

Today on my way to lunch I passed a homeless guy with a
sign that read “Vote Obama, I need the money.” I smiled.
