Thoughts on Friday at Work

So I work in an office where there's no music.  The only thing you hear is people talking to each other or on telephones or the sounds of keyboards click-claking away and office chairs sqeaking and the occasional sounds of Mexican yelping in the kitchen or pots and pans being thrown across the kitchen

I sang the Ships of Arcady Song cycle in my lesson last week. I must say that my voice is different now. It's amazing what a little age can do. 5 years and those songs are the easiest thing in the world to sing.

If ever you want to get a "cheap" birthday present for me, just make a recording of yourself performing that with accompaniment (and any other selections you deem appropriate). I would be most appreciative, considering my only recordings of you are (1) your performance of "Three Narratives" and (2) your singing in "Larry's Prayer"... hardly a showcase of your abilities!
