just thought I'd write it down...

I was watching the news, the other day (something I try to avoid doing) and they were talking about the rising and continually rising gas prices across the country.  They interviewed several dumbasses, but the one that struck me as the smelliest dumbass was the one who said ( Read more... )

HAHAHA. sorry that just made me giggle. i agree about the use of HUGE vehicles. Chris has a big truck, but he drives it MAYBE twice a month. He walks to work (which is around the corner) and I drive my little civic almost everywhere else we go. It just makes no sense to drive his truck unless we're filling it with other people who wouldn't fit in my car normally. I dont' get people who drive SUV's all over when it's usually just THEM using it. it kills me.

I'm a conspiracy theorist and I DO think it's about Republicans and Democrats. Bush and his cronies have a LOT of money invested in the oil on the other side of the pond. That's why the "War on Terror" ceased to be about finding Bin Laden, to freeing Iraq (so we could have free reign of their oil.) It's just like George Orwell's "1984." You should read it. It's quite frightening how it parallels current times even though it was written 60 years ago.
It's also quite frightening how people are so stupid as a whole...whatever they're told by the powers that be, they believe unquestioningly. Of course as you say, there is the typical asshole who adds to all this trouble by driving around in SUV's that are sucking up a non-renewable resource...they're probably a republican...hahahaha

Vote Marty Moose for US President!! poohbear72579 July 12 2006, 17:37:49 UTC
While I'm sure that some of the problems with our economy and the state of the world are due to an elephant vs. donkey battle, I do think it's worth noting that all of our politicians -- both elephants and donkeys -- are several times richer than your average American and nearly all of them have investments in commodities (even those aside from oil) and all of them are courted by lobbyists for business special interest groups and social special interests ( ... )

If you're not hearing a chorus of alley cats singing to the tune of "Stars and Stripes Forever" then you're not really using your noggin.

Oh, it's such a shame, this whole sittcheeashunn. Remember, I'm the chic married to an Enviro-Sci. J was gonna go work for the Army Corps (haha corpse) o' Engioneers at one time. You know, the feds instead of the state. Well, since BIG FARKIN BROTHER is probably watching me type this I won't get into juicy detail cause we're on their shit list, but they showed their true colors, and blatently at that. They are freaking as crooked as my ass crack and love to look out for their friends with the big buxx. And now that Katrina happened the whole world can see they don't give a shit about, well, anybody. And that's just ONE piece of our governmental puzzle.
Can DeeDee be Marty's running mate?

Marty's running on the Tidy Cat Platform, as long as DeeDee doesn't have a problem with litter box reform and raising imports on tuna and salmon, I think they'd be great partners for this upcoming election.

Hey, I saw tuna.com on the puter the other day and a couple hunks of dried litter on the screen. He had his first taste of salmon recently and now every time we open the cabinet, he's at our feet going "Bllrp. Blllrp!"
I think they'd be good to go!
