I am having the hardest time trying to write this update on Jim’s health. He’s not dead. That is to say his body is still breathing and reacting to pain and pain medication, but aside from that, he’s not really alive either

I've been where you are my friend. Although it was with my father, I was there at every turn, for every step so I feel what you feel. there are now words to say how much sadness is in my heart. You are a wonderful,funny,strong fella and Jim is blessed to have you in his life. Whatever happens from here on in isn't up to us but to a higher power that I think watches over us all. What I will remember is how happy he was when he was with you and how the two of you made me happy as well.
