Help needed to find a bungalow in LA

Not sure how many readers I still have to this ol' LJ -- and how many of you live in LA -- but a good friend/co-worker of mine just received a huge promotion at work that's requiring her to relocate from Portland to Los Angeles. Unfortunately, due to wacky life circumstances, her husband is not moving with her because he just received his dream

Not sure if it'll help, but my friend lived in a condo on Peidmont in Glendale that always had rentals available. Not sure if it'd be in the $1300 (because NOTHING IS) range, but let me check with my friend.

Ooh, that'd be awesome. Thanks! Yeah, I know, the low rent request caught my eye too, but I'm not that familiar with SCal rents.

I'm doubtful she'll get a free-standing unit in that price range, but happy accidents and luck does happen! And I did email my friend. She'll likely get back to me soon!
