Once, about two years ago, I had a couple people over to my apartment uptown to drink red wine and listened to Tom Waits' ballads, which I've always liked better than his irritating pirate ditties. I dunno. I think that puts power in her hands and it would be a perfect opportunity for her to hurt you further.

But maybe I'm being overly cynical.

I know I couldn't live with you -- but that hasn't changed out friendship over the course of more than a decade. Whereas with the FBF, if I'd told her honestly that I couldn't share a space with her, she would have forlornly replied, "This is further proof that nobody will ever love me" and then blogged about cutting my face off.

Sigh. I'm not going to contact her. I do sort of hope she somehow comes across my LJ, though, just so that she knows that I'm just as wounded as she is about the whole mess.
