fuck night audit!!!! Girl you are CRAZY to take that job. If anything, you should've taken it during the day. Go look at nicer hotels...they SHOULD start you off at 8 dollars an hour! I could see if I could find something for you in San Antonio right?!?!?

dude, that would be freaking awesome if you could help me out... the only reason I took this job is cuz I couldn't find anything else. I didn't think I could get a job working front desk during the day cuz I don't have any hotel experience. But 8 bucks an hour is SOOO much better than what I'm at right now.

And we still need to hang out sometime. :)

Ok, I will do some looking around in the S.A. area today for you...keep working at your job because it gives you experience, and that's always fantastic. I got hired IMMEDIATELY by the Homewood Suites by Hilton, and it's only because I have over 2 years of front desk experience...and cuz I'm cute :op

So, yeah, I'll do that while I'm bored at work today, and get back to you on that. I'll give you a list of hotels that are good to try, you can apply for front desk/PBX(<--that's answering the phones) and that's like 7 something an hour, anyways, let me knows which ones you go apply at and I will call them and tell them that I recommend you. I got yo' back girlfriend.

I didn't see any pics on your lj... where did they go? I wanna see! hehe... but yeah, I dunno when I'm getting a day off or anything (because I'm the only night auditor they have right now) but when I do, I'm thinking I might go up to Austin. I need to visit family up there, and get stuff from them hehe... so in the process of doing that we could hang out or something.

Here's some listings for ya, these are places that I would recommend checking out. If you tell them that you are currently working at a Best Western, it's a hotel, it's experience, it sounds good.

This first one you NEED to go check out. Homewood Suites is extended stay, and REALLY laid back (here anyways, not super busy). It's a good location (downtown S.A.) and the hotel is beautiful (from what I could tell).
