Not much has been going on. I have decided to reduce the amount of crap I have in my house, so I started to sell some stuff on Ebay. Of course the first set of things that sold I took the money and bought more stuff :D. Luckily it was more clothes and sneakers because I am on this new health kick which mind you I have done very well with so far ( Read more... )

You should get some watercolors, experiment with different mediums. They are all so different you have to try them all to know which ones are most fun for you. I had no idea how different oils would be to paint with, when I tried them I knew I didn't want to paint with anything else! You'll have to post some of your work soon. And as far as school, take your time and you'll decide what you want to do. You can always go back whenever you want.

Hey! I have always wanted to try oils, but I figured I better start with easier mediums first. Most of my paintings are half done and I will force myself to post some when they are done even if they are not very good *lol*. That way I can get some good opinions.

I actually find oils easiest, honestly I hate acrylics and watercolors but that's just me! The only thing about oils is the price, they're a bit more expensive than acrylics, and drying time takes forever. Actually you can get a set at Walmart for around $15 so you should try them sometime. I can't wait to see your art! Don't be shy, we are all our own worst critic!

Well hello! I haven't seen an update from you in what seems like forever! You're doing what I'm doing - reducing the amount of crap in my house and selling some of it on eBay!

You're painting AND writing! That's wonderful! :)

What's an "AA"? I've never heard of that up here. I haven't chosen my path yet and I'm 34! Actually, I did chose my path twice and two University degrees later, neither one is what I want to do now! :P

Hello! An AA is kind of like the half way point to the BA/BS. It is basically a 2yr degree mainly focusing on the liberal studies requirements and can be used for some jobs and to get into a 4yr school easier. For instance were I work-FSU- they will accept you with an AA from a Florida college. Yep it has been a little while since I posted, but hopefully as I was telling Michelle above I will finish some work to show you guys to get opinions on it. And yes I LOVE Ebay not just for selling but even more for shopping!
