I'm going very slow at this, but I swear I'll read all of this one day.
I'm loving it mor eand more. It's very involved in a good way. I'm a sucker for court dramas, particularly the more explicit and seedy ones. This sort of reminds me of this book of diary entries of a noblewoman in Louis 14's court. Charles is a sort of gender queer, slutty Lady Pompador, or whatever her name was.
I LIKE IT!!!
The burgeoning sweetness in Erik and Charles' relationship is wonderful. I really liked this line, "I enjoy a great many pieces of you," for some reason. It's very nice.
Hey, it's a bit of a monster as far as word count is concerned, I don't blame you for taking it in chunks.
Oh yes, Mme de Pompadore is a major inspiration for ATKM!Charles. I've never read her diaries but Charles basically is her in a very general sense. I love court dramas as well, this is sort of my bread and butter as far as my writing. It's not all intrigue but damn I love throwing some in.
They really are adorable I love them both to pieces and they keep getting more fun to write.
