He's only met Tig and Ruby briefly, and it wasn't all that good. Ruby got over-excited and barked, which scared the bejeezus out of him. Tigger was spitty and hissy. He's been staying in his 'safe room'(the front bedroom) until he feels a bit more comfortable with us and the house, then we'll see how he goes with re-introductions to the other pets. Consensus seems to be to let him take it at his own pace. At least upstairs, Ruby can't get to him as she's banned. So he can stay up there for as long as he wants to while he's confined to indoors. Hopefully by the time he starts going outside he'll have started getting used to Tigger and Ruby, and they to him.

The view was that MCs are being bred to be too large, too quickly. Some actual show cats have died from heart failure at a young age.
MCs will also wander for miles, but NFCs don't.
That was their opinion on the matter anyway. Personally I think they are both beautiful breeds.
