Yes, he thought it was funny. I still see red when I think about it.

But, I fixed his cookie. I called the Provincal SPCA on his arse. I hope they nail him.

He's doing a bit better, and appears a bit more alert. He actually peeped when I picked him up tonight to give him his 8 pm meds. LOL

I am still worried about that wing though, its hanging pretty low, but he uses it, so I am hoping its not broken.

See this is why pet stores are the ebil!! Especially the big chains like this one sounds. They treat their animals like it's a meat house ( ... )

Yes, Petstores are evil. I hate them.

And you are right, he did know something was wrong with Giz, they all did. It was no one wanted to do anything about it. If I hadn't have gotten him when I did, he'd be dead by now.

I am going to go check the petstore tomorrow and see if they are on sale, it wouldn't suprise me if they were.

I refuse to buy anything from a petstore now. I only deal with breeders

Aww, thanks, but I like to think I only did what anyone else would do. Since I bought my Grey a few years ago I have kept a credit card specificlly for any unforseen vet bills. So, I used that to pay for Gizmo's bills. The little guys on the mend, so I am hopeful he will make a full recovery :D

Since you put it that way, I think you are probably right. I got some really odd looks when I mentioned what I did at work.

Its a pitty really. I think if more people would do the right thing, this world would be a better place.

Well pet shops are far too often responsible for the bad conditions of animals, and worse, when it comes to parrots (but it's true for dogs too), very often bound to all kind of traffics (how many times have i seen parrots to sell with no ring, and the shop keeper pretending the birds were born in the country, ha !)
I love parrots (they were my DEA- this is equivalent to the first year of Phd, in France - subject) but honestly i couldn't stand to have one home, it's such a responsability ! I mean, when you know those animals (well, some of them) have the IQ of antropoïd monkeys, how can you just consider them as simple pets ???
