London/TG Bday catch up! part 1

May 28, 2006 12:32

Have been a bit crap with writing this up, keep meaning too then getting annoyed with pc, so here goes....................

Well last weekend had been along time coming, it's been ages since my princess scilla_violet and I had been away, so we were using it as an early anniversary, 3months early, but hey, who's counting! hehe

Date: Saturday 20th May 2006, Location: London, Event: Torture Garden Birthday Ball

I wont bore you with details of drive down, we got to london ok, actually got through london ok too, as usual the aa directions had a couple of mistakes but we did well together!! A bit of traffic at Tower Bridge, which later turned out to be because of the Princes' Trust concert.
Hotel(Travel Inn) pleasant enough, room pretty standard but clean, so all good.

So onto getting ready, to the soundtrack of the Eurovision Song thingy. blah blah blah
Time to go. This is where finding the right hotel is one of the main priorities, as princess had yummy, but heeled shoes to walk to club in. As it was, it was only a 10 minute walk. So with adrenalin pumping, heart racing just a little, we headed off to SEOne.

We get in, and I must say on first impressions, I was very impressed with the venue. It is under arches, so quite industrial feel about it, but still a nice club atmosphere. As we got there for the 10pm opening it was reasonably quiet, which gave us a chance to get a drink and have a good look around.
Even though it was still quiet the rubber goodness was starting to arrive. A few examples of lush rubber clad women, which had both of our attentions.
This is where I could write everything about the night, but I'm going to try to summarise it.....
Ok,

We saw lots of lovely people, some in rubber, some not, but all in all everyone looked good and the atmosphere was fun too.
We got free black sambuca, on a few occassions.
We met Samppa madmaxtattoo but he was busy getting ready as the Psycho Cyborgs were performing(one of the main reasons I wanted to go)
We saw Masumi Max and Kumi, but I bottled saying hello to either, and also asking Masumi what Myth from Indigo Tattoo had said I should say to her ;o), the cheeky boy!!
We spent most of the night in the Body Art room. To be honest some of the stuff was good, albeit a bit weird, but that's what we came to see though.
I saw Lukas lukaszpira, the guy who is going to do my head implants, but didn't have the balls to talk to him! Damn he looked intimidating.
Watched the Suka Off performance and then waited with anticipation for the Psycho Cyborg show to commence. This will be the only let down, we waited for nearly 90mins, if not longer, for them to come on. There seemed to be something not quite right. But eventually they did perform, other than a few little glitches it went good, but it ended abit quickly. I'm not here to blacken anything, obviously something wasn't quite right and that was that.
So, after that it was time to take a seat wherever we could, rest the weary feet and prepare for going back to the hotel.
There's probably somuch more I could write about the night, next time I'll do it when it's freah in my mind.

Anyway, a recap -
Great night
Nice views
Amazing company( I wouldn't want to be there with anyone but my beautiful princess xxxxxxx)
Good music, and venue
Pricey drinks
The dresscode could have been enforced a bit stricter
Good performances
Quick peek at Masumi's boobies! hehe
Tall Woman in Rubber Nazi Uniform! We both agreed she had the best outfit!
Time went too quickly, 6am came around far too soon! I didn't want to leave!
Queue to get out was poo, but oh well!

Exit and walk back to hotel. It's a very starnge feeling coming out of a club to find it's bright, not like the dark when you entered at 10pm.

I'll have to do the weekend in 3 parts otherwise this blog will go on forever.

So, stayed tuned

check out here for some pics, not of us but from the night,
