This trip had been planned for months.... and with lots on last weekend, we were sure to have a fun time!
Sat 8am train from chester
Bloody tired, esp as not finishing work until nearly 2am, but i got up and my princess
scilla_violet and I made the train.
The plan was to start drinking the jager, but we refrained.
We eventually made it to london after a not-required underground detour! fuckers!
Hotel room wasn't ready, so we dumped luggage and found a bus that went to liverpool station, then a short walk to the;
London Tattoo Convention!
Wow! I wasn't ready for how big it was going to be.
Not too busy, but busy enough.
Set out well, except for having to haul yourself up and down lots of stairs!
We've been to a few conventions now, and it only takes a few walks around to realise that it's going to be a long day if you stay for the duration, but not with this show.
Lots to see, lots of good ink being done, by some class artists, good ink on show too, and generally a nice bunch of people.
Lisa got to talk to Mr Capobianco about a future sleeve, his stuff is awesome, very colourful and unique.
We met up with a few of the skin deep forum folks, esp the visiting scottish fucka's! hehe
Lots to drink, resulting in me trying to find an off licence in the area that sold jager! but no luck! ppffffttttt!!
Eventually, we headed off and got back to the hotel, to find some moody twat who made checking in a right pain!!! But all was ok and to sleepville we headed.
Sun - Skintwo Expo
To this day I think this the first time that I have faffed over what I was to wear more than Lisa! hehe
Anyway, we got there and the first thing that hit me was the aroma, hmmmmmm, rubber! damn, there's nothing like it. I can't believe that it wasn't until I met my future wife that I'd never experienced rubber!
The expo was quieter than I thought it would be, and there didn't seem to be as many stalls as last time we went.
Oh, and there goes
kumimonster looking hot in a red catsuit!
So, we had a good look around, and then again.... to be honest unless you're meeting people there or planning to do alot of shopping which entails trying on lots of clothes the day can get a bit boring.
Anywa, we got upstairs just in time to see
fd_midori demonstrating some bondage/rope work. she makes it look so easy, which I suppose it is once you've been doing it for so long.
Then
latex_mole appeared, and received his birfday card from us!!! Great to see him again, and his friend, who's name escapes me! mind like a sieve.
So, we spent the next few hours perusing the rubber, checking out some play toys, but not alot really caught our eyes.
Sights to see: lots of rubber, a few very lovely looking fetish models, some very large breasts! some nice non-rubber clothes, in particular a nice kilt/skirt from jedphoenix, which I think I will be purchasing very soon.
As the day went on I still failed to introduce myself to kumi, I am actually a pretty shy bloke, suppose I don't like to intrude.
Saw
silveraj, but yet again, didn't say hi! Damn, I'm such a dumbass! I'm like a bloody schoolgirl ;o)
Times was ticking, so we bought some nice leopard print cuffs, and the skin two fetish girls dvd. We planned to goto the rubberball finale, but changed our minds.
Quick trip back to hotel, quick change, then another quick trip to leicester square..... I couldn't believe how busy it was for a sunday evening, must just be london, because up here in chester it would have been dead.
We wandered toward soho, hoping to find the intrepid fox still open, but no, it's doors had finally closed. so it was a trip to the nearest off licence/shop for jager and red bull, which ended up in two ribena bottles! don't want to get into trouble for drinking in the street. we bumped into a couple of the scottish tattoo folks, very surreal seeing as how bloody huge london is.
After hanging around for awhile we headed back to kings croos to hotel.... drink is bad! hic!
Mon - CCK and Shopping in Camden
I love this place, but before we made it there, we headed over to CCK, via forbidden planet.
This time we indulged in some cake aswell as the coffee and kink. We'd both go there everyday if we lived closer or it was up this way. Popped downstairs to see the Lukas' exhibition of his lovely lady, Satomi... lovely, no, beautiful, we both agree that there's just something about that woman. it's very tempting to max out the credit card on some prints, but I'm saving that for my implant work.
Then Camden, which like I said before, I love it, there's just lots of culture. Some of the retailers could be abit friendlier, but hey, that's life.
I actually had a very poor weekend of shopping, hardly spent any money on stuff, just a lil something, but not like our last trip.
Oh well, all trips have to come to an end, and so ours did...head back to euston and then the train back to chester.....sucks.......
I must admit, I never thought I'd like london, and I'm not sure I could ever live there, but the more I go the more I learn to like it. there's just so much more going on.
All being well, and Lukas being able to sort out a date for me, we should be back down in dec! see ya then!!!
Well, this me pookie_monkey, captain of the Nostromo(hehe) signing off, hopefully I haven't bored you, the anyone who reads this..... bye! and goodnight!
