I had been sorta struggling with whether to actually pay for channel subscription coz I'm from the era where I can get things on the internet for free. No problem dropping $170 for an external harddisk earlier this year but I stayed my hand when it came to actually paying for an online subscription. Luckily I did too! Coz less than a month later, he started the Youtube membership for the show that launched all of this. Even though it's slightly more expensive than the nicovideo version (and I had actually already decided to bite the bullet and was waiting til 01 Feb to subscribe to the nicovideo channel coz that subscription bills on the 1st of the month), I decided to go ahead with the Youtube membership coz at least the video is 1080p. The last time I lucked out with the 2 full videos I can watch on nicovideo, I can only get the 480p version, which in the year of your lord 2022? Unacceptable! And also, to a slightly lesser degree, the Youtube membership is on a platform that is slightly easier to navigate than nicovideo lol... I mean, I know enough Japanese to poke around nicovideo but I won't know when they'll geoblock the videos or make the payment Japan-issued cards only or do some bullshit like that.
Anyway, while watching the full version of his chat with Sakaguchi Daisuke, I was like,

In related news, he said something along the lines of how he'd always thought he was similar to Miki Shinichirou in terms of like work ethics and thought process etc but didn't really say it to the man himself and that there's someone else he thinks is similar to him too so now I'm curious who is the other person he thinks he's similar to lmfao
