Why should it matter what happened in the past, unless it directly effects what you are talking about.

If this is what I think it is about, then really, it all depends on how much each is giving to each other. Who knows, it might've been a nice change of pace and a nice motivation for everything else.

...or it could end up in another failed suicide attempt and drinking piss off a toilet.
