I completely adore how you have both of them dancing around each other. Immediate crisis now past, Faith is second guessing being in Giles' house and Giles is struggling to keep from going into full-on Watcher Mode and possibly driving her away. Love how he offers that going shopping will be a way to stick it to the Council.
Can't wait to see what they buy - can I hope that in addition to the things for Faith, that Faith will pick out something really hot and sexy for Giles, possibly something tight-fitting of the black silk and leather variety (dog, um, puppy eyes at you)?
Eagerly awaiting more . . .
Thanks for sharing!!

Not sure that we'll see that in this series, but I haven't written the next part yet, so who knows? No promises!
I do envision a sexy encounter between the 2 of them, mixed in with some violence, and lots of angst. Will try to finish the series by the free posting day at the end of the month!
(My Giles secret: even when he is wearing tweed, or comfy sweaters and jeans, my Giles always wears black silk boxers underneath.)

I'll be trying to finish the remaining chapters for the free posting day at the end of the month. Operative word: trying. :)

I think of the two of them shopping as 'crazy adventure time'.
Heh. Is the neighbor going to snark at him about making out with Faith in the hall? If they saw him buying her clothes.. sugar daddy comments? That could be some epic awkward awkward!Giles.

oh, and yeah, I agree, domestic Faith is kind of unheard of... but, it seemed right here. I think even Faith wouldn't understand it completely.

And I seriously need a G/F icon. Must fix that.

and I'm always happy to hear their voices (as I write them) ring true to the characters. :)
