emmaloumeng has decreed that we must start LJing again, so in combination with the fact that I don't like Wordpress as much (maybe I'll just use WP as my personal website log, if I ever get around to actually working on my website) , in addition to all of my best friends already being on LJ, I'm coming back to the fold. Im so jealous of you living in the woods! I went up to my friends cabin the weekend before last and saw two deer and a pack of wild turkeys...plus there's a raccoon family living in the tree above our trash cans.

I think the raccoons got into our trash last night. I'm not even mad, I just wish I'd seen them while they were digging around with their cute little hands.

I'm updating semi-regularly... though I'm on the Twitter and the FB too. This past year has been a bit of a whirlwind for me - I'm in a whole different place now, compared to the start of the year... but it's all good :D

Yeah...same here. A lot of adjusting and a big physical move....I'm just now starting to feel comfortable, if not yet settled. :)

I will call you when we get back from Hoquiam on Saturday, or on Sunday. Whatever is best for you...email me and let me know when to call. It's easier to call you than have you call me since I'm tied to a one room space when I'm on the phone. xoxo

I am still very sad about Steve, and I never even got to meet him. So I don't find it at all unusual that you're still holding onto his toy.

How is your arm? And I'm glad your LJ is updating again, maybe that's the spark I need to start updating mine. :D

I made the executive decision to take my arm out of the cast several weeks early so that I didn't have to cat wrangle in the U-Haul with one working arm. It turned out to be a good choice. It still gets sore sometimes when I use it too much, and I don't have full extension of my elbow. I think that can be fixed over time, but I rarely remember to stretch it out, so I may have a freak arm for the rest of my life. It's not so bad, though it may hinder future cartwheeling, which is somewhat unacceptable.

Definitely do start updating. I'm going to make a concerted effort to come back and update more. I miss reading about everyone, and I miss taking the time to write a little everyday.
