Me too. Loads of people didn't turn up today. Considering all the main roads were gritted and were fine, just wet, I thought it a bit unfair/taking the piss. Especially compared to the pathways which were covered and required a fair bit of effort - the usual 20-25 minute walk through town was a fair bit slower and more like skating than walking (all good fun though - I quite enjoyed it).
Work does have a policy if you don't turn up because of weather you don't get paid :)) or you have to take it as a holiday. So I didn't feel too bitter. Although I was a little annoyed at the vague promises of going home early not happening.
Where's the proper 5"+ snow?! I want to be snowed in at home all day eating maltesers and drinking hot chocolate wrapped in a duvet.
