In order to win, McCain has to first make the primary, which means pleasing ######## Republicans above their own kind. That isn't likely to happen, though he did help his case with them by recently supporting Bush, so we'll see. I'd be surprised if he gets past the primary - too many GOP members look at him as the kind of person that's tarnishing the Republican party.
