FLESH AND BLOOD

I watched the new Texas Chain Saw Massacre tonight. I need to watch the original again to compare the two. When I got home I decided to do some internet investigating of the claim that the film was "inspired by actual events". It is in fact "inspired" by a lovely mid-western man named Ed Gein although most of the story is sensationalized and pure, ( Read more... )

It just seems odd to me that people cannot agree on absolute evil.

I, myself, think that it is crazy that everyone drinks milk which comes from tortured animals and contains puss, urine, and blood...

Other people call it murder if you go to a doctor and have him suck out a bunch of coagulated cells that, in eight months, would be called a human.

What is the difference between Gein making human skin lampshades and us relaxing at home on leather couches? Sure, Gein lacked social skills and understanding of consequences and such. But, his actions, overall, caused just the same ammount of pain to the world.

If this sounds rude, I apologize but when was the last time an animal changed the world for the better, or worse for that matter? True they feel pain but they haven't at all advanced since the earth began when it comes to intelligence. When they first were all they did was eat, sleep and die and now, thousands of years later they still do just that. Humans have come a long way especially in the last 100 years. Animals exist solely out of instinct although some are more "intelligent" than others. We humans, on the other hand are so much more complex with emotions, ideas, free thought, apposable humbs(haha), relationships based on more than just necessity of survival and, in my belief, a soul. This is how I feel and what I believe and you are entitled your own ideas.

I think humans suck; one of the worst creations ever.

We are supposed to be ambassotors of the world (it says that somewhere in the bible) but instead we trash the world. Three things that I'd like to point out:

1 ton of toxic waste is produced by the u.s. military every minute.
10% of nursing mothers who were vegetarians had ddt in their breast milk.
90% of nursing mothers who were meat eaters had ddt in their breast milk.

I disagree about coming a long way. We are poisoning ourselves. Pollutining like mad. And more selfish than ever.

I if I had it my way. I'd take us all back to the acricultural age. Where the most complex tool is a hoe.

Where does it say the world is suppose to last forever? All things must come to an end. We are surrounded by imperfection and greed. We are all guilty of it, every single one of us.

Oh, and when it comes to abortion, is a man more of a man when he is fifty compared to when he was twenty five? Or when he is two compared to when he was two minutes? Life has to start somewhere, nothing just appears does it? Even if evolution is what you believe, there are still necessary steps of growth that have to take place for an organism to reach full maturity. I'm done with my "right-wing" ranting.

I was thinking about checking it out but I might reconsider now. Thanks for the headsup. Have we met? I'm not good about keeping track of who I know and who I don't.
