Oh, the angst towards the end. I feel so bad for Charles. And now Erik as well. I'm glad you're updating again :)

Poor Charles! Being the target of not only disciplinary action he didn't deserve, but also a vicious rumour mill... It is so unfair, but it's real, and I feel horrible for Charles. He is trying to do the right thing but he just can't catch a break. I am so worried!

Yes, I hope it seems realistic, even though it's terribly unfair.

Thanks for reading, and don't worry, the angst won't last much longer!

Oh, Charles.
Thanks for the update, I was really looking forward to reading it.
I really like the way you are depicting student/teacher boundaries in academia. Student/teacher relationships -whatever their real nature- tend to be frown upon. Poor Charles.

Yes, even though Charles is entirely innocent, a relationship outside of the classroom is sure to draw censure.

Thanks for reading and commenting!

Oh, this is so awful for Charles, especially considering that he didn't really do anything wrong (okay, some of his actions may have been a little misguided, given the circumstances, but nothing to warrant the situation he finds himself in now...)

I'm on tenterhooks waiting to see how you're going to resolve this!

Yes, poor Charles is entirely innocent, if a little naive about how his actions would be viewed by others. Silly, idealistic man.

Thanks for reading and commenting!

I see we've found one of your pet peeves! (mine is strait/straight. Drives me insane!)

I'm glad you're enjoying the story!
