Oh god, this fic is going to ruin me. I swear it! It's so beautiful and angsty and perfect. I have a feeling that this isn't going to end well. I'm hoping for a better outcome but something tells me that Erik's memories will return or someone will show up and wreck everything. Poor Charles. He knows he's playing with fire but he can't help himself.

He just loves Erik too damn much. It's so heartbreaking because you know that Erik has always felt the same except past Erik wouldn't let that stand in the way of his ideals. Now that the slate as been wiped clean, so to speak, does that give him the chance to see things through Charles's eyes?

What then happens when the past comes back to tear this new life they are building together apart?

So many questions...

I'm killing myself here going over all the what if's here. I want so badly for these two to have a happily-ever-after but at what cost? It's hardly fair for Charles and Erik to build a life that is more or less built on a lie.

Goah, poor Charles! He's so tormented with what is right and is wrong in this situation. I'm not sure whether I can tell what is right and what is not here, and when it comes to Charles... besides rights and wrongs he just wants his Erik back, badly. OMG this angst breaks my heart. Well, at least Erik is happy and content... for now

For once, I don't think Charles should feel that guilty. About Erik loving him anyway, because Charles definitely didn't push him that way, hiding much of their relashionship.

About the Brotherhood and Erik's past, now, entirely different, but we already talked about that.

I just hope everything won't just blow up in his face at some point. And I like Erik's new more peaceful plans.
