It is a shame you had to skip on the wine. Dalamtian Coast vintages are as old as the empire and quite respectable. *I* would like to find some good Transylvanian reds that haven't been sulfite'd to hell as that was what the Romans preferred to their own domestic production. Probably requires a trip to Romania though.
Oh man, me too. I really wanted to try them. I was supposed to use them in the sauce but mum forbade me from buying booze for the project. The wine shop at market hall carries come vintages from the area. There's also a Deli called Euromix on Piedmont and they carry international booze. I dont know whether they are sulfite free, however.
