[ There's the quiet sound of silverware and porcelain clinking against one another in the background and the soft murmur of voices talking to one another in pleasant tones.  Every so often, though, there is a small eruption of noise as someone is asked to 'move down'.  Then there's a much louder sound of an audible sip, followed by a dissatisfied
