Supernatural 6.01 - obvs contains spoooooilers if you haven't seen it
Ok, so after the season 5 finale, where it was glaringly obvious where the whole show should have finished and then when they backtracked so they could have characters left for season 6, I have tried to reserve judgement. The season 6 promos looked pretty epic, truth be told, so I was semi excited to what the season 6 premiere.
But really now.
I don't even know where to begin? It was really slow to begin with, it seemed really jumbled, the plot just seemed to be plucked from thin air. Don't even get me started on the 5 seasons we have had being told how hard it was for Lucifer to get free and all of a sudden, OH HAI, I'M OUT? If it was that fucking easy, what were the last five seasons for? Samuel coming back? Random third cousins? FUCKERY.
Clearly Sammy is not Sammy, but I just don't buy for ONE second that he would have got out and let Dean get on with his life, esp if he knew Dean had done what he told him not to and tried to find a way to bust him out. There is absolutely no shitting way Bobby would have sat on that secret either, no way. Bobby always got on better with Dean!
Also, NEEDS MOAR CAS / METALLICAR.
I just don't know. I know this is Supernatural and there is probably some epic, entricate explaination for all of this they are going to bust on us, but I just can't help thinking it is going to go Buffy style, with those final seasons being watchable but LOLZ WHAT? at the same time.
