So during a marathon chat with bernie_laraemie tonight we discussed many things (oh did we discuss things! He is now the keeper of my secret flame), amongst them fanfiction. So I made him read my favorite fic of all-time, and we cried, so then I said I'd post my all-time favorites.

Just Short of a Bottle of Maker's Mark and a Shotgun, The Body Found, and Illusions to Live By are some of my favourites too! I've probably read The Body Found about... more times than I care to count. Haha. They're all so very good, for all the reasons you already stated. =)

I should do a post like this sometime.

And I totally agree with you about all the people being like OMG HE IS FAT. Because, um... no he's not. He's not as thin as he was in season one and two, but he's not fat. He gained weight, oh well. He's healthy and that is all that matters.

You opened all new world of fanfiction for me!
The thing is I watched all House seasons (in two month!), because I thought if you like it, then probably I would like it. It is actually my second TV show I have ever watched, first one was Jeeves and Wooster :) I love movies, but mostly I don't like TV. So now as I have nothing to watch the fanfic is logical continuation. Tanks for your list, it saved a lot of time to browse the ones I would like.

I'm so exited, I've started with The Body Found and then read Exigencies and then The Contract (better say look through it, pity I just don't have enough time :( Exigencies reminded me of my one and only English fic about John/Paul.
Stories are so sad, so now I listen to the saddest piece of music I have - Adagio For Strings by Baltimore Symphony Orchestra from BBC TopGear album.

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you liked them and I admire your ability to tackle reading fics like those, even though you're not a native English speaker. House/Wilson does bring the angst, doesn't it? And that is my weakness.

Funnily enough, I recently read an article about the popularity of Jeeves & Wooster in Russia, so your mention of it made me smile!

I wandered over here from housewilsonlol, and good god I am going to friend you for this alone: I'm not talking about people who made one or two occasional mild jokes about it (because I may have been one) but the fans whose names I won't mention (I will totally mention their names, try me) who were all like, "OMG he's fat, he's fat," blah blah blah every single week. No, sorry, he's not fat just because he gained like, fifteen pounds at the most and he's someone's who spent most of his life (including the beginning of House) looking underweight. A lot of that harping started to make me feel uncomfortable...and as I said, maybe it's because I was oversensitive to it because of personal circumstances. But the female cast members by and large don't get their weight commented on, so it bugged the shit out of me that it was acceptable to do the same to a man. because motherfucking AMEN. Go ahead and name names, hell, I de-friended a few people that kept making snide comments about it. At least now I know why we will never see normal-
