[it's hard to pinpoint exactly how she'd been affected. Other than happy. Either way, she couldn't really complain when she knew how crazy this place could get]

They can be a bit disturbing, though this one seemed a bit more on the harmless side, at least.

[But really, how bad could it be? Lovecraftian horror still holds a special place in her heart, after all; it's difficult to imagine that it'd really be so bad to see something a little less tame.]

Kay's mind has been zooming along this kind of track all afternoon.] I suppose trying to stuff you full of pie didn't help any.
