I agree with you. I like to keep my books looking good. Depression hits even when I'm the one to mess up a book of my own. And to treat someone else's book (or anything for that matter) poorly is unexcusable. That's one of the reasons that I'm such a SOB about loaning out things, that and having to ask for them to be returned.

maybe it's just me, but i'd never expect to get one back in perfect shape. *shrugs*

Should probably specify that it was a $30 book and would be about that much to replace (it's cheaper on amazon, but requires additional shipping cost) that was bought new and kept in almost immacculate condition except for normal wear. It was not torn when I lent it out, nor was it run over.

... the little bit at the bottom of page 59 in the footer, also in invisible ink is what you should *really* be worried about. ;)
