Gratitude.

So I've only had a couple major breakdowns this season so far. Fortunately, there have been people there for me when I needed them, and getting through the winter actually feels possible. That is a concept I can barely wrap my head around. So I kind of feel like there are

Thank you, Nick, for coming to see me at work when you say you will, for listening to me bitch when it all just gets too much inside, and for your grade A hugs that make a girl feel special and cared about.

Thank you, Elise, for giving me someone to look after and motivate, for sharing your woes with me and listening to mine, for being girly when the soul cries for it, and for knowing that sometimes you gotta be sad.

Thank you, Leif, for being there for me when my heart broke in two. I know that must have been frightening, but you rose to the occasion and came out the hero. Also for the nicest Sunday morning I've ever had.

Thank you, Jon, for still being my friend even though you are my roommate's boyfriend, for chatting me up in whispers while she sleeps a little later in the AM, and for making me laugh even when things are totally yucky.

Thank you, Larissa, for not going anywhere. You're the one stable thing in my life and I love you for it.

Thank you, Whitney, for being the greatest roommate friend of all time, for knowing when I am in desperate need of a hug, saying that I'm going to marry every boy I like, listening to my endless stories, for pretty much everything. I steal TP for you. TP from the heart:)

Thank you, Stephen, for being so sweet. You're what I didn't want to admit I needed.

A HUGE THANK YOU to all the Adventure Thursday people: You, my friends, are the coolest people that I could ever invite into my home week after week and you have time and time again lifted my heart when I thought that there was no way I could possibly want to be social or happy.

From a girl who would love to think that she can do it all on her own, you are the people I am happy to say help me live life a little easier.

And that is a very good thing.
