Hey, dude... long time no talk. Um so Ulpan = intense. I just started mine @ Hebrew U's NYC thing... and yeah.. level Bet is all in hebrew.. I understood like 75%... but the 25% I didn't understand was the important stuff.. Remember L'hatchil is to begin.. I remembered what that meant halfway through class today.. oh well. Oh, and Pizza Hut. So this is what happens (its like this in China, Thailand, Laos, Egypt, so its prob. the same in Israel). Basically some dude approaches Pizza Hut, and buys the franchise name for the whole country. Then the pizza hut is customized for that country, so it is totally different / better than in the US... and then they make lots of money. In China it was a really expensive restaurant, with lots of really cool / original toppings. In Thailand it was relatively cheap, but they all had cute uniforms on, and had like 5 waitresses / bus-women per table... crazy stuff. Enjoy ulpan - Otis.
